Large Organic Cotton Facial Pads x 5 - A Slice of Green

Next Previous

A brilliant alternative to disposable, single use facial wipes or cotton rounds these organic cotton facial pads make a wonderful addition to your plastic free bathroom. Durable and ultra-soft these facial pads are both reusable and washable.

The organic cotton velour side of the pad feels incredibly soft and gentle against your skin and the cotton towelling fabric side provides a gentle exfoliating action that will cleanse your skin, leaving it clean and smooth.

Featuring a handy hanging loop for drying out between uses and after washing, or slipping over a finger when in use.

Disposable rounds and wet wipes are wasteful and harmful to the environment. Not only do these makeup pads help reduce your waste but they’ll save you money. On average, one reusable pad is the equivalent to using up to 300 disposable cotton pads.

Contains five pads measuring approximately 10cm diameter.

Care Instructions

Wet with warm water, apply facial soap or cleanser and gently massage skin in a circular motion.

Once used, pop into a washbag and launder with similar colours on a warm wash (30 degrees) and leave to dry naturally. When finished reuse again and again!

Please note - We would not recommend using the pads to remove nail polish.  Even if you wash them under the tap while they are still wet, nail polish will definitely stain the pad and you wouldn't want to then use it on your face.

  • The cotton is grown on non GM, small farms in South India where the dry climate helps the cotton to grow well. It is then woven in GOTS certified weaving units.
  • The producer is a family business that makes the bags in their own sewing unit in Tamil Nadu, India. Green Pioneer visited the unit in 2018 and were impressed by the high standards.
  • GOTS Certified - The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is recognised as the world’s leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibres. It defines high-level environmental criteria along the entire organic textiles supply chain and requires compliance with social criteria as well.
